Shoulder Length Hairstyles I Learned At NYC's Drybar

You might have asked yourself, where are women getting their dope blowout hairstyles. Here are a couple of fly girl blowouts from stylist Celeste.

I recently donated eight inches of hair, which means a few things: my hair looks healthier, I can save money on shampoo, and, oh yeah, I had to figure out how to style my new, shorter strands.

So when I received a range of Drybar products, including their new Detox dry conditioner, I decided to challenge myself to go an entire workweek without washing my hair. Armed with the right products and tools, I wanted to see whether I could make a fresh Monday morning blowout last all the way until Friday evening.

Today we'll look at some examples of the style and where it came from.

Curly hair tends to be a bit drier, so you'd think you have to douse it with tons of moisture to prep it for a blowout, but a light touch keeps hair manageable without the extra weight so my blowout lasts longer.

The blowout haircut can have any length on top, often styled back, while the sides are kept quite short and slowly taper off — especially around the temple region.
